Behaviour Support

At 2include, our Behaviour Support model is built on connection, collaboration, and a deep respect for the individuality of every person we support. We recognise that people communicate, think, feel, and build relationships in diverse and meaningful ways. Our role is to understand these differences and respond with strategies that are supportive, safe, and genuinely person‑centred.

We take a neurodiversity affirming approach that celebrates strengths, honours identity, and promotes dignity. Our practitioners work closely with the people in each client’s life, families, support workers, coordinators, clinicians, and community members, to create a shared understanding of the client’s needs and the most effective ways to support them. This collaborative model ensures consistency, confidence, and clarity across all environments.

Our behaviour support is grounded in evidence‑based practice, functional assessment, and positive behaviour support principles. We focus on upskilling support workers, and creating environments where clients feel happy, healthy, safe, and valued. Every strategy we develop is tailored to the individual and designed to enhance their quality of life, independence, and opportunities for growth.

We engage stakeholders through open communication, real time coaching, and ongoing guidance. This ensures that everyone involved feels supported, informed, and empowered to implement strategies effectively. Our aim is to build strong, trusting relationships that promote safety, wellbeing, and long term positive outcomes.

At 2include, behaviour support is not just a service, it is a partnership. Together with our stakeholders, we create a community around each client that expands their opportunities, strengthens their relationships, and supports them to learn, connect, and thrive.
